People at all levels of Scottish country dancing are welcome at the Highland Mist Workshop.
 
In 2010, we are happy to be featuring Mel Briscoe, a certified teacher of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, who lives in Arlington, Virginia.
 
Scottish country dancing is an elegant art of movement in virtually every aspect of the dance - handing, phrasing, teamwork, and even sociability.   The goal of the dancers' workshop is to help students, from newcomers to experienced dancers, achieve maximum enjoyment of the dance through the mastery of movement.
